Smoothies are a great way to enjoy granola and with so many possible combinations the types of smoothies you can make at home are literally endless! One of the great parts of smoothies is the ability to get a full meals worth of fruits and veggies plus a little extra nutrients with nuts and seeds. This Blue Magic Smoothie recipe developed by Danielle Bear and harness the power of blue majik, also known as spirulina!

What is Spirulina?

Spirulina is a superfood that is high in nutrients, antioxidants, and can even reduce blood sugar. Not only is it good for you, it is a natural food coloring that can turn your next smoothie blue! This recipe also includes a Tablespoon of purple sea moss gel, which is optional, but adds a a great flavor and a source of healthy fats.
